Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary care, also known as home care, personal care or social care, is intended to support individuals with a wide range of care needs, to remain in their own homes instead of being cared for in purpose built facilities such as care homes or hospitals.

Whilst many of the individuals who receive home care are elderly, many others also prefer the surroundings of their own home.

Horsham Home Care, located in Horsham, West Sussex, provides a full range of home care services within Horsham and the surrounding villages. Whether you need one half an hour visit a day, or need live-in care, we provide a high quality, professional, friendly care to all our Clients.

For example, we might provide respite care, providing a break for a relative or friend who provides the majority of care.  We can provide re-ablement care for individuals whom have recently been discharged from hospital or a care home. Alternatively we can provide care on a long term basis for those individuals who need support around their home.

All care activities in the UK, including home care, are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). CQC set out the minimum standards of care, and regularly inspect organisations to ensure compliance. This includes collecting feedback from Clients and Carers. Horsham Home Care were last inspected in January 2016 and were found to be providing a “Good” service. See our separate CQC page to view our rating and report.
